Reel Beauty: Katerina "Kat" Graham

You may know Katerina "Kat" Graham of Vampire Diaries who has supernatural powers as a witch. Reach way back into your memory and you may recall seeing her as Capri or the Strawberry Fantanas girl in the Fanta pop commercial. I am so excited to see what her future holds in the world of Hollywood. She's a triple threat, meaning she can dance, sing and act. She was a background dancer to Lil Bow Wow, Missy Elliot and Jamie Foxx and has been featured in several music videos. Random fact, she knows 5 languages. Tell me that's not sexy! Every time she steps out on the red carpet she looks amazing and her face - flawless! Follow her, because she is making strides on screen as well as in magazines with her beauty.

Get Kat's Look:

1. Give yourself strong eyebrows by shaping them and filling them in with an eyebrow pencil
2. Use Urban Decay's Polyester Bride, or a comparable white shimmery eyeshadow with a loose blending brush across the eyelid ands around the tear ducts
3.  Place MAC Saddle, or a comparable soft brown eyeshadow in the outer crease of the eyes up to the brow bone
4.With a clean blush brush sweep (Iman Luxury Eye Defining Powder in Wicked) or a comparable a chrome metallic grey in the inner creases and blend the colors together so that there are no harsh lines
5. line the eyes with black eyeliner
6. Apply dramatic angled dense Black eye lashes like Make Up For Ever 108 Allison
7.  Highlight the brow bone with a matte color that matches your skin tone
8. With a blending brush, drag a small amount of the white shimmer used in step two under the bottom lash line
9. Contour the nose with a dark brown color
10. Cover your lips with a moisturizing sheer light pink gloss like Revlon Pink Pop

Beyonce' is on the scene again after a short break to gather inspiration. I had a chance to view her new video "Best Thing I Never Had". Her makeup is flawless in this video.  It's amazing how they show her as a young girl going to prom and then fast forward to her on her wedding day. She looks so natural and her facial expressions are priceless. I feel like she lets her true personality shine through on film. Her radiance is what makes her so beautiful. She is a Reel Beauty!

Hangover 2's Jamie Chung first caught my eye in Sorority Row. I thought she was funny and had really strong beautiful Asian features.  She's is definitely making her footprint not only as an Asian American actress, but an actress period. She's a REEL beauty!

Reel Beauty: Tika Sumpter

Tika Sumpter is someone I think the world should look out for.  She is already a successful tv star having aired in the Soaps (One Life To Live) to Gossip Girl. I was surprised to see her staring in both Gossip Girl and The Game.  I was excited to watch her on Monday and Wednesday nights.  She is a great young actress and we will definitely see more of her. Her chocolate skin is so beautiful and I know girls with her skintone will be able to steal her tv looks when they wear their makeup as well as ideas for their closets.
