Mary Kay TimeWise Night Time Skin Care Regimen, Microdermabrasion & Satin Hands

I don't have a night time regimen (It's on my list of New Year Beauty Resolutions. lol.) so I was excited to test out these new products sent to me by a good friend from college Brenda Muñoz, Mary Kay representative. She shipped me a box full of makeup and beauty products to review and tell my readers about. The box contained so much stuff I couldn't possibly tell it all to you in one post, so there will be more to come. For now... Here are some pics of the samples and my genuine honest opinion on the TimeWise and Satin Hands products.

Mary Kay product samples

Satin Hands

Satin Hands w/ a Peach Smell $34
-Great smell
-Lasts 24 hours
-A lot of product came in this sample
- Feels like vaseline with an exfoliant scrub, rinse, the add lotion

Step 1: Refine and Step 2: Replenish Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion Set (can be purchased separately) $55
I have been wanting to try microdermabrasion for quite sometime.  At first I wasn't liking this product because it felt like scrapping sand paper across my face... but as I rinsed the product off I could feel and see an instant difference in my skin. I felt somewhat of a stinging afterwards which after applying step 2 felt more like a tingling. The replenishing solution was also not too oily. I would definitely purchase this product as a cost effective alternative to other microdem products.

Extra Night Emollient Night Cream $13I wasn't sure if this was a face creme or not, because of its thick consistency, so I just tested a bit on my hands. I had questions about this product. Looks and feels like a pink vaseline with slightly more slip (not as tough to spead and apply). Does add moisture and a luster sheen to the skin.

The black package is for night and the pink is for day

Night Solution $30You can see the white and blue particles, but you can't feel them. Goes on clear and smooth. Very refreshing clean feeling. I would purchase this product.

I woke up the next morning feeling a great difference in my skin. It was very hydrated and felt extremely soft. I didn't even put on foundation, just slapped on some lipstick and filled in my eyebrows. I felt confident enough to go without makeup because my skin looked so healthy.

Other products I tested:

3-in-1 Cleanser ($18)
TimeWise Night Restore and Recover Complex ($40)
TimeWise Age Fighting Moisturizer ($22)
TimeWise Day Solution Sunscreen SPF25 ($30)

These are only a few of the products that I have reviewed. There is more to come! You can contact Brenda Muñoz  about ordering these products at BMunoz86@MaryKay.com or call her at 773-569-7444.

  1. Hi! I'm so glad you liked the satin hands and microdermabrasion! Those are two of my absolute favorite products. :) The Extra Emollient Night Cream is in fact a "treatment" type of cream for super dry skin on your hands. A lot of women like to apply the cream and then wear plastic gloves as to lock in all the extra moisture. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call or text me!
P.S. Thanks for the honest reviews :)

  2. A microdermabrasion treatment can come so many different forms. Professional treatments are the best option available in the office are made by professional skin care.

  3. @ Brenda, thank you for the opportunity!

@PeerMurphy I've done a few different posts on microdermabrasion, but this is the first time I've tried one first hand.

  4. Hi. I love Mary Kay. I have the microdermabrasion kit but I don't know how to apply it together with all my nighttime routine
